WORKSHOP PROGRAM 2010

As part of Fairview's ongoing program we are conducting a number of workshops during the course of 2010.

Screen Printing with Veronica Burns

This day-long workshop will be an introduction to screen printing onto paper using water-based inks. Beginning with simple paper stencils, drawing or painting onto the screen, using various resists and combination techniques, students will see how easy it is to achieve a fascinating series of complex prints with minimum equipment.
Students can prepare for the workshops by bringing with them ideas or ‘compositions’ of what they want to print. Contact Veronica Burns on 63 72 1387 for details

Felting
Helen Doble will instruct in felting techniques and students will design and felt their own bag on Day 1 & a tea cosy on Day 2.
