WHAT FAIRVIEW IS ALL ABOUT

Fairview ArtSpace officially opened its doors 16th May 2008 and has been evolving ever since.

Fairview ArtSpace is located in a fine heritage building at the gateway to many of Mudgee’s fine vineyards - The corner of Henry Lawson Drive and Ulan Road.

The site hosts three businesses, Fairview ArtSpace, Small Winemakers Centre and Gulgee Wool Shed.

Excite your senses; visualise quality art forms, taste the wine and feel the wool and jumpers and finish off with morning or afternoon tea in the courtyard cafe.

Trading Hours: Fri, Sat & Sun 10am – 5pm

Gallery Space –proud to support local, regional and selected visiting artists.

Currently workshops in felting, papermaking, book binding, drawing, watercolours, acrylics, oils, & picture framing are available at different times through the year.

The workshops will be run at varying levels of expertise – Beginners to Experienced

A program of workshops for the next three months will be available on the website along with a PDF version of enrolment form.

Art Services - Supply artworks to local facilities for decor and sale.

Artiteq professional hanging systems available for purchase

Measure and quote for the system can be organised.

Art Appreciation events – where an artist or group of artists will have an exhibition, run a workshop and speak at a dinner about the origins of their type and style of art with references to their own art forms.

The idea behind this concept is to offer the people and artists of Mudgee and region an opportunity to gain further knowledge and appreciation of any one art form and offer further stimulus for artist’s own works.

A small cafe was introduced to the business and visitors are able to come and sit inside, in the courtyard or on the verandas and enjoy fabulous Vittoria coffee or a pot of Twinings tea along with freshly baked Mudgee cakes and biscuits. There will be music filtering through the space and on special occasions a live performance from local musicians.

Local and Sydney papers to browse whilst you enjoy a coffee and ponder your choices.

Great array of gifts, prints and cards available.

Fabulous Jacki Brazil jewellery, recycled magazine beads from Uganda, bags, ceramic mushrooms, garden sculptures. So many choices.

New additions to the ArtSpace are adding to it's ability to engage the local and visiting community.

The installation of a large screen and mounted projector and surround sound speakers has made it possible for private groups to have dinner & movie nights .

The room is also available for small groups to have meetings and workshops.
